Job Summary and Responsibilities:
We(Edulift) are a registered NGO dedicated to youth empowerment, currently managing Rotary International’s Global Grant Project. The project is initiated by the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town. We seek an individual to oversee/manage day-to-day project activities and coordinate with various stakeholders. The primary objective is to actively engage with stakeholders, monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), source job opportunities for youth, and coordinate training sessions. The successful candidate should be capable of conducting training sessions independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field visits to government colleges and other training institutions
- Deliver training sessions for youth
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including training institutions, local wards, and donor organizations
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Source job and internship opportunities for youth and facilitate connections
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Mandatory 2 years of experience managing and coordinating NGO/INGO projects
- Previous project recommendation letter required
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Proficiency in proposal and report writing
- Negotiation skills and strong leadership abilities
Preferred:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to uncertainties inherent in NGO projects
- Flexibility and commitment to the cause
- Digital literacy and open-mindedness
- Expertise in a teachable skill such as photography, programming, or designing
Working Conditions:
- Ideally possess a 2-wheeler with a valid driving license
- Working hours: Sunday to Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM
- Frequent travel within the Kathmandu Valley required
Benefits:
- Salary: Gross salary ranging from 25K to 30K with a guaranteed 10% annual increment(Conditional)
