Five signs your interview went well

While it's not always guaranteed, there are several positive signs that can suggest your interview went well. Here are some good indicators to look out for:

1. Length of the interview: If the interview went on longer than expected, it could be a sign the interviewer was enjoying the conversation and wanted to learn more about you.  Interview lasts longer than scheduled, suggesting the interviewer wants to know more about you.

2. Discussing Start Dates and Availability: If the interviewer asks about your availability to start or your notice period, it indicates they are thinking about on-boarding you.

3. They’re making an effort to sell you the job: When interviewers sell you the job, they highlight company culture, benefits, career growth, and work-life balance. They share success stories, provide job details, offer office tours, and show eagerness to proceed quickly, indicating strong interest in hiring you.

4. Company Details: The interviewer provides detailed information about the company, the team, or future projects, indicating they see you as a potential fit.

5. You get invited to a second interview : Getting invited to a second interview is a strong indicator that your first interview went well. It shows that the company is seriously considering you for the position and wants to learn more about you.

These signs are encouraging but not guarantees of success, as the final decision depends on various factors, including other candidates. Always send a thank-you email after the interview to reiterate your interest in the position.
