Key Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Maintenance:
   • Perform routine, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance tasks on cable car systems and related mechanical components.
   • Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical systems to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the cable car.
   • Identify and rectify mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
2. Gas Cutting and Welding:
   • Utilize gas cutting and welding techniques for maintenance and repair tasks.
   • Fabricate and modify mechanical parts as needed for system repairs or upgrades.
3. Component Inspection:
   • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical components to ensure they meet operational standards.
   • Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for required repairs, replacements, or upgrades.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Actively participate in safety drills and implement corrective measures as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a senior fitter in an erection or operational site.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Proficient in gas cutting, welding, and fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including bearings, gears, pulleys, and drive systems.
• Skills:
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate a team of helpers.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in an industrial or operational setting.
