The Quality Control (QC) Manager for Fabrication plays a key role in managing the quality assurance and control activities in the manufacturing of signage This position is crucial for making sure that products comply with industry standards, meet customer needs, and fulfill company specifications, all while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and maintain quality control procedures for the fabrication processes.
- Carry out regular inspections and tests on production quality check , in-process stages, and finished products.
- Spot areas within the fabrication process that could be improved for better quality and efficiency.
- Oversee non-destructive and destructive testing methods as needed.
- Keep detailed records of quality inspections and reports.
- Make sure that all fabrication processes align with regulatory and safety standards.
- Generate reports on quality performance metrics and recommend improvement strategies.
- Team Management and time efficiency.
- Handle customer complaints regarding product quality and implement effective solutions.
- Work and collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects/products are delivered on time.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in quality control in a fabrication or manufacturing setting.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of fabrication techniques, welding standards, and materials.
- Skilled in using quality inspection tools and software.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities. - This role takes place in factory and workshop environments with hands-on exposure to fabrication processes.
- It involves frequent inspections on the production floor.
- Some travel may be necessary to visit suppliers or customer sites for quality assessments.
