Job Description
- Supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading all passive and active networks and infrastructures.
- Immediate response to emergency calls and perform initial troubleshoot to pinpoint the problem.
- Monitor the Fiber Trunk link connection for ISP headend and escalate the issue designated Vendors.
- Monitor the Optical network issues deployed in the different location and forward the issue to respective vendor and technicians.
- Provide cost effective corrective solutions whenever possible.
- Provide timely response and resolution to all incidents, outages and performance alerts.
- Collaborate with vendors & other technical teams on a regular basis.
- Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of incidents, meeting SLA requirements
- Generate excel pivot tables to compile key company data and reports.
- Preparation and compilation of team and vendors weekly and monthly reports
Job Specification
- Bachelors' degree in Engineering. Masters preferred
- At least 2-3 years of work experience in a fiber optics maintenance.
- In depth knowledge and experience in fiber optics sensing systems required
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead projects and project deliverables
- Flexible to perform 24x7 rotating shift duty.
- Be willing to work flexible hours & after hours work as & when required
- Familiarity with both component-level and system level optical specification and design
- Familiarity with optical alignment methodologies and equipment
- Two-wheeler and license compulsory
