Job Description
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and materials to various locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safety of passengers.
- Load and unload equipment and materials from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Aid in the installation of fiber optic cables, including handling and laying cables according to specifications.
- Provide support to senior fiber technicians in various tasks related to fiber optic network infrastructure.
- Help with the preparation and organization of fiber optic equipment and tools required for installation and maintenance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing fiber optic network issues.
- Work closely with other team members including technicians and support team.
- Interact with customers professionally, addressing inquiries, and providing basic information during installation or maintenance visits.
- Physically fit for the tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in various weather environments.
- Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.
Job Specification
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or training in fiber optic installation and maintenance preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of ISP equipment and technology.
