Job Description
  • ACCA or equivalent certifications, Additional degree in business is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position leading mid-size finance function.
  • Relevant prior experience working for Global Software Business.
  • Understanding of relevant industry regulations that may pose compliance risks.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, identifying trends, and assessing financial risks.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation of Nepal.
  • Ability to use data to quantify risks and model potential financial impacts.
  • Experience in project management/ change management.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework.
  • Strong leadership skills to build a culture of risk awareness within the organization.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

Job Specification
  • Develop strategic plan and drives implementation of best practices and continuous optimization of processes to gain efficiencies and drive productivity gains. Drives harmonization and standardization locally in line with IT Company global standard and best practices and assists in development of global solutions.
  • Ensure legal compliance with financial reporting and banking regulations at the local, state, government, and global level. Ensures transparency in financial reporting and enhance and manage internal control environment.
  • Lead planning and forecasting activities with business and partners to achieve investment and accounting goals.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate financial business risks to safeguard the company's financial health and profitability.
  • Lead and manage system implementation or digital projects in the finance function as the project manager. Ensure timely project implementation, benefit realization, and risk mitigation with the support of IT and user teams.
  • Review financial reports and advises corrective action accordingly. Collect and analyze data to prepare financial forecasts and suggest strategies to address challenges and leverage strengths.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to optimize profitability and transparency.
  • Assist and support upper-level management to ensure sound financial decision-making that is in the long-term best interest of the organizational mission.
  • Oversee and ensure an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
  • Ensure internal/external audits and other statutory audits are handled with high standards and in a professional manner and the findings are addressed and resolved in a timely way.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of reporting package and associated disclosures.
  • Execute revisions and updates to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate the expansion and scaling of the business and increase transparency and compliance.
  • Build, empower and lead a high-performing Finance team by fostering collaboration, delegating effectively, and providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.  Ensure the team has the necessary skills and resources to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the financial operations of the business and encourages and enables direct reports and other staff to do the same.
