Job Description
Liaison with defined University
Ensure the progress and smooth operation of student programs in collaboration with defined university.
Academic Resource Planning:
Plan and allocate resources efficiently to support academic programs.
Lecturer Management:
Oversee the management of all lecturers, ensuring they meet the required academic standards.
Student-Centered Culture:
Maintain a positive, student-centered environment that emphasizes high academic standards and progression rates.
Staff Training and Mentorship:
Monitor, train, and mentor staff to enhance academic outcomes.
Academic Review:
Collaborate with the Campus Chief and Executive Director to conduct Course Committee Meetings (CCMs) at the end of each semester.
Weekly Academic Monitoring:
Conduct weekly meetings with all lecturers to review:
Student academic performance across modules.
Progress of students identified as weak.
Academic issues such as sharing best practices and addressing teaching challenges.
Resource and support needs, including lab, equipment, budgets, and student services.
Submit minutes of meetings to the Academic Director.
Weekly Academic Operations Monitoring:
Conduct weekly meetings with the Campus Chief and Executive Director to review:
Student attendance across modules.
Follow-up actions for students with attendance below 80% and 60%.
Feedback from students, both academic and non-academic, and the subsequent follow-up actions.
Submit minutes of meetings to the Academic Operations Team.
Marketing and Admissions:
Develop and implement marketing policies.
Provide counseling and manage admissions for BCA & BSc CSIT programs.
Job Specification
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT coordination or a related role, preferably within an educational institution.
Experience in academic resource planning, IT project management, and staff mentoring.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software.
Familiarity with academic management systems and tools.
Leadership and Management Skills:
Strong leadership abilities to manage a team of lecturers and IT staff.
Communication Skills:
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to analyze academic and IT-related issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in IT and education technology.
Flexibility to work outside regular office hours if necessary, particularly during critical academic periods.
