Primary Responsibilities:
- Design maintenance procedures and methods to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and implement SOPs, machine checklists, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment and utilities within the production plant.
- Perform and coordinate utility shutdowns, startups, equipment servicing, and inspections.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Execute tasks assigned by supervisors, including installation, modification, testing, and servicing of equipment, while adhering to site change control procedures.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks and promptly respond to equipment faults.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdown problems.
- Assist in installing new parts and ensuring proper equipment functionality.
- Conduct quality inspections on jobs and assist junior engineers when necessary.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Address emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs.
- Review log sheets, books of operations, and cleaning records for utility machines and processes.
- Collaborate with clients, engineering teams, and production colleagues to resolve issues.
- Manage and control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment inventory.
- Utilize SAP software to raise indents for spare parts shortages.
