Job Description
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Set up test data and create test environments.
- Execute manual test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functionality.
- Analyze, document, and report bugs and errors identified during testing.
- Use appropriate tools to identify, record, and track bugs, and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform regression, sanity, and smoke testing after bug fixes to ensure stability.
- Conduct testing across various domains, including mobile apps, web applications, APIs, and performance/load testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to recommend software improvements for an enhanced user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with team members on additional QA tasks as needed.
Job Specification
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance principles, test planning, and test case creation.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing, including web and mobile testing.
- Solid analytical skills with a strong understanding of system workflows.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Working knowledge of databases such as MySQL or Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiarity with automation tools like JMeter for performance testing.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and system security is a plus.
