Job Description
- Design, install, configure and deploy L2 and L3 network
- Plan, design and implement MPLS, VPLS, BGP, Routing, Switching, FTTH and other networks
- Involve in evaluation, recommendation and optimization of existing network infrastructure by implementing new standards and technologies
- Provide support to clients as appropriate and ensure timely response to issues escalated by Customer Support team
- Maintain network performance through network monitoring and analysis and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems
- Monitor system performance, traffic behavior, detect anomalies, analyze workload including traffic and utilization trends.
- Prepare regular health checkups of network devices and prepare accurate reports with proper documentation of information.
- Analyze network requirements, arrange scheduled upgrades and maintain a healthy network backbone.
- Responsible to keep network at optimal performance ensuring no service disruption round the clock.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and handle entire network with minimal to no supervision
Job Specification
- Bachelors in Computer Engineering or any related field from a recognized University
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Administrator in ISP
- CCNA/CCNP/HCIA/HCIP/JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/ or equivalent certified candidate is preferred
- Advance technical understanding of internetworking technologies like Ethernet, PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, IPoE, AAA, ICMP, TCP, GRE, QoS, VRRP
- Must have hands on expertise in MPLS, VPLS, L2 & L3 VPN
- In-depth knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 routing
- Strong analytics and troubleshooting skills.
- Flexible in duty timing and should be available round the clock if required
