Job Description
  • Preparing all accounting vouchers on a daily basis, including supplier invoice validation, and closing the books monthly on an accrual basis.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office to prepare the weekly commission reports.
  • Preparing and filing TDS returns on a monthly and quarterly basis, after receiving confirmation from the Head Office.
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns on a monthly basis, after receiving confirmation from the Head Office.
  • Prepare employees' salaries on a monthly basis and ensure timely payment of SSF tax
  • Prepare weekly inflow and outflow statements (receipts and payments) and submit them to the Head Office every Friday, with the reporting period from Thursday to Wednesday.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, and submit them to the Head Office by the 10th of each month.
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements for advance tax payments, review them with the Head Office, and ensure timely payment is made. (THIS IS A CRITICAL TASK)
  • Prepare Schedule 9 (Individual-wise Commission Details - Taxable), Schedule 10 (Stock Inward & Outward), and Schedule 11 (Individual-wise Commission TDS Details) to be submitted to Trade on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare the Sales, Purchase, Purchase Return and Sales Return Registers as per government format and upload them online to the IRD portal.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office regarding the import documentation process, including LC creation with the bank, liaising with the clearance agent, and handling all related tasks. Finally, ensure the submission of documents to the bank for LC closure.
  • Coordinate with the auditor to ensure income tax filing is completed before the due dates.
